Wedding Shower
Instead of a traditional bridal shower, we would like to invite everyone to come to the house and help plant our new pollinator garden. The garden will serve as the backdrop for our party. We have set-up a store where you can “purchase” a plant. We will purchase all of the plants and have them at the house for people to help plant, if they want. If you would like to attend the planting party, please let us now as a comment when you “buy” a plant. The planting party is set for April 27. Light luncheon will be served at 12:30.
Barn Fund
If you would like to give in addition to or instead of our pollinator garden, we would love help siding/weatherproofing our barn. Residing the barn would allow us to begin expanding our living space into the third floor. The plan is to add a larger dining space for entertaining, a bedroom, and a 3/4 bath. All that would be connected to the house via a staircase from the kitchen. There are no windows on the third floor, so the siding would include some windows facing the new pollinator garden and redesigned backyard. If you would like to support our barn renovation, feel free to bring gifts to the party.
